I currently reside in Youngsville, LA with my loving husband Everett and two (SPOILED) pups, Penelope and Izzy. I am an early riser, so you will often find me up before the sun, coffee in hand. In addition to photography, I work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room and love learning about the human body and how it works. Whether I am in scrubs or beyond the camera, creating authentic connections with others is a passion of mine.

how it started
I guess you could say the creative gene runs in blood. My dad has art degree, while my brother is a graphic designer. I have always searched for my creative outlet and finally found it with photography. My love for photography actually sprouted out of another love of mine, fitness. The journey began for me when I began taking photos for the gym I attend & coach at, Verse Crossfit. I loved freezing moments in time and being able to share those moments to the world. Thus,Allison Young Photography began!
